In
addition to our regular Baby Rhyme Time and Storytime sessions you can choose
from a range of fun and informative Best Start activities at the library and
help your child develop early literacy skills. Best Start programs offer language
development and literacy experiences for children 0 -5 years and support
parents/carers as their child’s first teacher.

is a fully resourced opportunity for parents and children 0 - 5 years to play,
pick up early literacy tips, network with other parents and make new friends.
Introduce your child to the wonderful world of free play. Have fun playing and
talking with your child, making up stories together and sharing in their
delight as they make new discoveries.

National Simultaneous Storytime
Join the fun at National Simultaneous Storytime.
Popular picture book The Brothers Quibble by
Aaron Blabey is being read at your local library and across Australia on
Wednesday 27 May at 11.00am. This special storytelling event will follow on

Discover and Learn: The importance of art in décor Rescheduled!
Due to the severe
weather this session has been rescheduled so if you couldn’t come last time,
here is your second chance. Do you desire a unique Wow! factor for your

and Learn: Journeys on the Silk Route in India
Journey with traveller and tour guide Rob Leach and follow the
Silk Route which lies between China and Europe through India. Hear Rob’s
stories and see photographs of his travels through the cities of Bikaner,
Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Pushkar, Jaipur then onto Agra, before finishing
in Delhi. The country side is full of colour, history, people have beautiful
smiling faces and there is the most amazing architecture in the spectacular
forts and palaces of the Mogul Empire.

Computers For Beginners
– Learn basic computer and keyboard skills, word processing, email and internet
searching. Small class sizes take the stress out of learning. Sign up for this
4-week course that’s starts the first Tuesday of every month.

Toddler Apps is a hands-on information sharing session for parents with
