$6,998 boost for Everton community groups

Two Everton community groups will share in $6,998 in local funding to purchase essential equipment to continue their good work helping others.
Member for Everton, Tim Mander said this round of Caring for our Community grants recognised the valuable contribution community groups and their volunteers made to better communities across Queensland.
“These grants provide a fantastic opportunity to improve community facilities and upgrade resources whether it is a printer, computer or a fridge and a small boost like this can go a long way for our community groups and their volunteers,” Mr Mander said.
The following community groups will receive Caring for Our Community grants:
- Bunya Community Environmental Association Inc - $2998
- Help Enterprises - $4000
